Criminal Law
So you have been accused of a crime that the Police have become involved with. You may well have already been arrested or interviewed, or maybe you have been asked to be interviewed by the Police about an incident. Someone has told the Police that you did wrong and now you find yourself in a world of stress and worry.

What could this do to your hopes for the future? What happens if you have a criminal record? How will this affect your career.

How will this affect your personal reputation amongst family and friends. The biggest problem for Solicitors and Barristers is that the evidence they have to work with is at times not very good.

Mr H was accused of Harassment by his ex-partner. We looked at the evidence and the statements made to the Police. We found that the ex-partner was exaggerating the truth. not only that, but was creating a victim personality so that the Police and the Courts would see that person as vulnerable and down-trodden. However, some brilliant work found that in fact the accuser was not this person, evidence produced exposed that her character for the Police and the Courts was in fact a made up. We also found that there were legitimate reasons for what did happen, and that there was another agenda for why an accusation had been made.
This was presented at court, and, as a result, the court found the accused NOT GUILTY. In fact there was no case to answer.

Miss B was accused of Fraud. This was far from the truth. The Prosecution and Police had focused on was what she was doing and didn't look at what she wasn't doing. They did this so that the evidence would fit the criteria for fraud. Their evidence was looked at, and a statement was produced which exposed a one-sided story. The result was the accused was found NOT GUILTY.
